On December 29, 2025, Maranatha Christian Academy (MCA) took a decisive step toward smarter energy management by formalizing its partnership with AECO Energy through aceremonial contract signing at the MCA Imus campus. Attended by MCA Directors and Directresses, the event marked the beginning of a strategic collaboration aimed atstrengthening how the institution manages one of its most significant operating costs: electricity.

With a nationwide network of over 100 schools, MCA faces a unique challenge: balancing fixed tuition structures against increasingly volatile power costs. As energy prices fluctuate, the ability to manage and forecast electricity expenses has become critical to maintaining operational stability and long-term sustainability.

This collaboration aims to improve operational efficiency, optimize energy use, and expand access to the full benefits of the RCOA program, empowering businesses to better manage energy costs while supporting more efficient and sustainable operations.
