Charyl is a finance professional by training with more than 20years of risk management and control experience, including regulatory compliance and end-to-end credit related work. Her background in credit involved engagement with clients for financing solutions. Notable deals are of greater than US$400m in financing, with the largest assets transfer of more than US$1.1bn. She has led teams across Asia and has extensive experience in regulatory work, including transformation of financial institutions’ license requirements.
Charyl was part of the Asian Financial Leaders Program, and notable institutions of learning included Stanford University, Tsinghua University, IMD Lausanne and Singapore Management University.
Finance Director
David is an accomplished CFO with over 30 years of experience in finance and strategic leadership roles for multinationals operating in APAC, EMEA and ME. He has successfully led SGX IPO, PE and M&A deals, transformed and developed finance teams, and partnered with business leaders to drive earnings growth. He has extensive experience in the technology and service sectors, including subscription and SaaS businesses. He holds an MA from the University of Cambridge, an MBA from Cranfield School of Management, and a Corporate Finance Programme certificate from London Business School.

Technology Manager
A licensed Engineer, a certified Project Management Professional and a Certified Scrum Master, Vasudha brings with her 18 years of experience from the Information Technology industry. She leads highly innovative projects for Power Choice and AECO Energy. She also manages a team of IT experts delivering superior business value spanning from program and project management, domain consultancy, application development and maintenance, and quality management. She holds a degree in Engineering from the University of Mysore.
Services Delivery Manager
Melissa strongly believes that customer experience is an integral part to the success of an organization. With more than 13 years of experience in customer experience and retention, she is responsible for the delivery of AECO Pacific Group’s customer interactions leading to greater customer satisfaction, loyalty, and advocacy. She brings forth her forte in enhancing customer experience by optimizing the entire customer journey to improve business relationships and increase growth.
Sales Director
Joseph over 20 years of experience in a plethora of multifaceted sales operations, strategy, product management, distribution, partner management, and business development. A team-oriented and process-driven leader, Joseph’s multicultural and extensive experience in managing new market segments, devising strategic plans, launching sales initiatives, and negotiation skills make Joseph a great addition to the AECO family. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Charles Sturt University.
General Manager
Debbie has over 13 years of experience in marketing, sales effectiveness, business development, customer experience, and administration from leading telecommunications and business process outsourcing companies in the Asia-Pacific region. Debbie is now playing a pivotal role in AECO’s expansion plans in Asia serving as the General Manager. She also leads the Strategy and Ventures business of the group. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration major in Marketing.
Operations Director
Maricris is a Certified Practicing Accountant with 15 years of commercial experience in finance and operations. She has been with AECO Group since 2013 and has extensive experience in AECO’s business operations and operational processes. As the Operations Director, she oversees the day-to-day activities of the business ensuring all are managed and performing efficiently and effectively while delivering the highest quality of service and commitment to AECO customers. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business (Accounting and Finance) from Queensland University of Technology.
General Manager
Louise has an impressive career as a senior strategist and digital leader in her 20 years working in marketing. She has forged a unique combination of integrated marketing skills having held senior marketing and digital leadership roles in industries stretching from FMCG to financial services. Leading the way in digital for companies including CUB, Heinz and Coca-Cola, she has developed and implemented acclaimed integrated marketing strategies. Prior to taking the leap to digital, Louise held Senior Brand Marketing positions with companies like Citibank and Mars. Louise is an excellent facilitator and a motivational leader. She has a unique ability to simplify complex issues and distill them into strategic solutions. She holds a Bachelor of International Business and Modern Asian Studies degree from Griffith University and a proud member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
CEO, Chairman, and Founder
Alan has more than 20 years of experience in Senior Management and over 10 years in Electricity Markets. He is the founder and CEO of the AECO Pacific Group which holds both the Power Choice and AECO Energy brands. Alan holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, an honors degree in Computer Science, a master’s degree in Information Systems and Business Administration, and a diploma in Financial Services. He is also a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors and holds the qualification of a Qualified Listed Entity Director.
